Speaking

I love to talk about what I do.
Whether it is talking poetry, the environment, pedagogy, or politics, I enjoy connecting with audiences and sharing my stories. I've spoken at conferences, festivals, summits, political rallies, arts events, memorials, and anniversaries. I've guest lectured in public school, high school, and university classrooms. I've led public poetry workshops, read poems on street corners and presented to city council. Each speaking engagement is unique and requires careful consideration of the occasion, the audience, and the vision of the event organizers. As a public speaking instructor at Western, I have had the pleasure of sharing my experiences and helping each student find their voice. If you are interested in booking me as a speaker, please contact me for availability and rates.
